FSSIC Society is an independent not-for-profit society that encourages and promotes interest in fluid-structure-sound interactions and control over the world. The Society provides a forum for academics, scientists and engineers working in all related branches to exchange and share the latest progress, ideas and advances, and to bring them together, from both East and West, to chart the frontiers of FSSIC. The Society supports all those with an interest in fluid-structure-sound interactions and related disciplines including researchers and professionals. Its core function is to support the organization of the Fluid-Structure-Sound Interactions and Control (FSSIC) series, currently held biennially.
Vision: To advance fluid-structure-sound interactions and control as a rigorous, innovative and forward-looking scientific discipline, while building a global community that inspires the next generation of researchers and sustains excellence across generations.
Mission: To connect global community and advance scientific exchange, to develop the next generation of researchers and leaders, and to uphold and advance the scientific standards of the field.
Our Values:
•Scientific Excellence:
We are committed to advancing the highest standards of scientific research in fluid-structure-sound interactions and control.
•Scientific Integrity:
We uphold honesty, rigor, transparency and responsibility in scientific research and communication.
•Openness and Inclusivity:
We foster an open, inclusive and respectful scientific community in which researchers from different backgrounds, disciplines, career stages and regions can contribute and participate.
•Opportunity and Development:
We are committed to creating opportunities for researchers at all career stages to learn, contribute, connect and develop within the field.
•Service to the Scientific Community:
We recognise service to the scientific community as an important responsibility of the Society and its members.
•Continuity and Stewardship:
We value the long-term development and sustainability of the field and the Society.
FSSIC Society is an independent not-for-profit society that encourages and promotes interest in fluid-structure-sound interactions and control over the world. The Society supports all those with an interest in fluid-structure-sound interactions and related disciplines including researchers and professionals. The FSSICS is charged with overseeing and supporting the Symposium on Fluid-Structure-Sound Interactions and Control (FSSIC) series. The membership consists of those members of the Society who have indicated their wish to join the Society and who annually retain membership though the payment of designated dues. The FSSICS was incorporated in Hong Kong, P. R. China on 1 September 2017.
How is the Society organized?
The Society's affairs are run by Council and its committees, within the constraints of the Rules of the Society. Council consists of an executive committee comprising the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary; plus the Immediate Past President.
Duties of each commitee to be developed.

The standard membership fee is (USD) $80 per two-years for full members and $40 per two-years for student members. These fees are usually collected every two years/FSSIC symposium cycle ($80/$40) together with registration for the Symposium on Fluid-Structure-Sound Interactions and Control. For lifetime membership enquiries, or to obtain membership other than through the FSSIC registration process, please email the deputy secretary of the FSSIS at Email: Name#gmail.com.
Designed for PhD candidates, Master students, and undergraduate researchers specializing in fluid-structure-sound interactions.
For university faculty, institute researchers, and industrial research & development engineers holding advanced degrees.
Conferred upon senior scholars who have made significant, outstanding contributions to the field of multi-physics engineering.
Tracking the history and future iterations of the biennial FSSIC Symposiums.
FSSIC 2027 acts as the central assembly point for the global research community. Keynote tracks will feature multi-fidelity simulation methods, marine hydro-acoustics, and active structure controls.
Peer-reviewed papers from FSSIC symposiums are systematically compiled and published as specialized volumes in Springer's Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering book series. All volumes are fully indexed via Scopus and EI Compendex, anchoring the society's scholastic legacy.
Official partner channel for full paper archival indexing.
To promote scientific excellence, the FSSICS Council evaluates and presents distinguished awards at every biennial assembly to recognize milestone innovations.
For senior career breakthroughs in aeroacoustics.
Encouraging PhD researchers under the age of 35.
Space reserved for images from FSSIC events and research.
